SUSTENANCE!
In a beautiful evening my exhaustive evening came to an end. I ran into my house screaming for some food. My mother was preparing my food and was setting things ready to fill my little tummy as I took bath and changed my clothes. I took few bites and refused to complete my meal. I left my plate behind and moved on to resume my routine. Then there came a lady to my house with all tattered clothes begging for some food. She was so hungry that she fell dizzy. She was looking soo down roaming all day for some food. My mother served her some food which she ate in a jiffy. This hit me real hard. Food shelter and clothing are the basic amenities that a man requires in his life. The most lucky are those who have got all the three things. I am really grateful that I am one of the few who have got all these. Would you believe? If I say more than 640 million approximately are starving without food daily globally. This owes to 8.4% of the world population. We do all the tantrum at home when I our mother cooks the food that we hate or the taste of the food is not upto our satisfaction. But have you ever imagined that there are people out there dying daily because they did get the food that we are complaining about. Need for food has been the key reason for many crimes. Food can trigger our emotions easily. I have heard my mother suggesting me to have some food whenever I am angry. Food donation is the best form of donation one can do. Not necessarily from KFC it can even be two idlies from the roadside shops. Let's share what we have with the people who are in actual need. Let's try to be a change and let the others extend the chain . Let's start it right away. Let's think for a minute before we leave our plates undone. LET'S LIVE AND LET OTHERS LIVE!
